Production transfer of photoinitiators from Haimen, China to Anqing, China

Anqing, China, July 1st, 2021

After successfully commissioning the new state of the art production site in Anqing, China, IGM Resins has made the strategic decision to transfer all photoinitiator production from its Haimen China manufacturing location to this new manufacturing location, IGM (Anqing) Technology & Development Ltd.  The new production site in Anqing will secure long term, unrestricted operations, and increased capacity to meet the growing demand for photoinitiators in the future.  

The new regulations of the Jiangsu province on environmental and ecological protection of the Yangzi River have given the industrial park, located only one kilometer away from the river, a new purpose for the future. IGM’s focus is maintaining consistent supply, high quality, and opportunity to grow for our customers. With the operation of the new state of the art production site in Anqing, China, the existing site in Mortara, Italy and the strategic inventory build, IGM is confident to manage this transition and will deliver on its promise to ensure a reliable, sustainable Photoinitiator supply.
