Press Release final candidates EY entrepreneur of the year 2018

Wednesday, September 5 the 13 nominated entrepreneurs presented themselves to the jury. The independent jury consists of former winners and finalists of the price, captains of industry and other experts. Chairman of the jury is Jan Kees de Jager, former Minister of Finance. During the final on Tuesday October 2, the winners will be announced.
There are two categories, hence two winners will be selected. The 'EY Emerging Entrepreneur Of The Year' is a fast-growing, innovative entrepreneur whose company exists up to ten years. The 'EY Entrepreneur Of The Year' is an established entrepreneur who has had an impressive impact with his or her company.

Category EY Entrepreneur Of The Year award:

- Enny van de Velden (CCV)
- John Huiberts (IGM Resins)
- Niels Klok (DEGIRO)
Category EY Emerging Entrepreneur Of The Year award:
- Hesther Le Riche (Active Cues)
- Thierry Schaap (Brand New Day)
- Daniel de Boer (ProQR Therapeutics)
- Rochdi Darrazi (Boldking)
International
The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year award was launched over 20 years ago and is awarded in over 60 countries. The award is intended to specifically highlight entrepreneurship to encourage and support business owners to maximize the performance of themselves, their clients and their employees.
The Dutch winner in the category EY Entrepreneur Of The Year will participate in the international election EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year. This election will take place in June of this year in Monaco.
