About the Role
As iGM Resins continues to strengthen its global supply chain planning capabilities, reliable and unbiased demand forecasting is becoming increasingly critical for effective decision-making. The Global Forecasting Analyst plays a key role in building the statistical baseline forecast that supports our global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. In this role, you work at the intersection of data, analytics, and supply chain strategy. By ensuring strong demand data foundations and continuously improving forecasting models, you enable better planning decisions, improved service levels, and deeper business insights across the organization. Your work ensures that our global planning organization operates with reliable, data-driven demand signals.
You will:
- Generate and maintain a robust statistical baseline forecast covering a 3–24-month planning horizon
- Ensure high-quality demand history and master data within planning and ERP systems by identifying and resolving anomalies or structural breaks
- Analyse forecast accuracy and bias using metrics such as MAPE, Bias, and Forecast Value Add
- Identify root causes of forecast deviations and recommend improvements in models, parameters, or data inputs
- Develop and maintain forecasting KPIs, dashboards, and analytical reporting to support S&OP discussions and decision-making
- Collaborate with external forecasting partners to tune statistical models and improve forecasting parameters
- Support scenario simulations and sensitivity analyses to provide insights into demand assumptions and potential planning gaps
- Identify opportunities to strengthen forecasting processes, tools, and analytical capabilities across the organization
Your insights will directly support global planning decisions and contribute to stronger alignment between demand, supply, and business strategy.
Who are you?
You are an analytically strong professional who enjoys solving complex problems through data. You combine statistical thinking with business understanding and are able to translate analytical results into clear insights for cross-functional stakeholders.
You bring:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Business Analytics, Econometrics, Statistics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain analytics, or a similar analytical role in an international environment

- Strong analytical and root cause problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate analytical insights into clear and practical business recommendations
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI tools such as Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud
- Affinity with data modelling, data governance, and analytical reporting
- Having programming skills (e.g., Python, SQL, or similar) is considered a plus
You recognize yourself in iGM’s 5C culture: Commitment, Curiosity, Creativity, Collaboration, and Customer Centricity.
What do we offer?
