What are you going to do?

In this dual-impact role, you will be part of both the global technical team and the european sales team. You will be responsible for driving specialty applications forward in the EMEA region, acting as a bridge between global innovation and local execution.

Your technical expertise will be key in identifying new business opportunities and supporting strategic growth in high-potential markets such as industrial coatings, adhesives, and 3D printing.

Your key responsibilities include:

Technical & Commercial Interface

  • Translate technical know-how into customer-driven solutions, cost-in-use benefits, and product recommendations.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers, both in person and remotely.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and technical counterparts.

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and target markets.
  • Validate industry trends and drive the new business pipeline in collaboration with regional sales teams.
  • Support new product development and commercialization.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with R&D, Regulatory, Product Management, Operations, and Sales teams.
  • Represent iGM at industry conventions and networking events.
  • Contribute to technical literature and marketing materials to promote the iGM product portfolio.

Who is iGM?

iGM is an important player in the UV technology market and specialized in producing raw materials for adhesives, lacquers and paints that harden using UV. Our head office is in The Netherlands, but we have more locations all over the world where we work every day on the success of our organization with a very international and customer driven approach. We have grown rapidly in recent years and now we employ more than 700 employees worldwide.

Who are you?

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field.
  • You bring at least 5 years of hands-on lab experience in developing formulations for coatings, resins, adhesives, or composites, preferably with UV-curing expertise.
  • You have a strong affinity for coordinating lab work, including conducting application tests as required.
  • You have experience in project management and coordinating lab work, and strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • You are fluent in English (a second European language is a plus), and willing to travel up to 50% of your time.
  • As a person you are ambitious, decisive, independent, initiating, outgoing and persuasive.
  • Location: Remote (European based), or from our offices in Italy (Gerenzano) and The Netherlands (Waalwijk)
